Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2023 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The Tocllaraju, which translates from Quechua as snowy trap, is one of the most emblematic mountains of the Cordillera Blanca in Peru. It exceeds 6,000 meters in height and its sharp figure of enormous seracs and ice waterfalls make it a perfect tribute to the ancient name that the Incas gave it. Being in his presence is undoubtedly intimidating and majestic at the same time. As you climb another peak in the Ishinca Valley, you can't help but feel his powerful gaze.
