ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Parts of the Campo de Piedra Pomez in Northwest Argentina have been eroded into sweeping formations that give the impression of an ocean of waves, the bows of boats, or sometimes even the topping of a baked meringue pie! As I took this image at sunset looking down over the pumice field, I felt that I was lost in a vast sea.
