Death Valley
Mesquite Dunes
Summer 2023

I love walking into the dunes when I am the only human. This happens quite often in the summer as the temperatures are quite high.

The days leading up to this one moment were quite windy. The dunes were transformed into a soft, inviting landscape. I felt warm. The solitude was such a gift. The texture was like velvet. I was entranced.
