Snowstorm in April, Mongolia. by Yuriy Danchenko (Ukraine)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Mongolia, a side view from the road between Erdenet and Ulaanbaatar. Snowstorm in April, swift change of the weather, and surprisingly unexpected -5C, after nice and sunny +20C on the previous day. Large flakes of snow stick to the camera, lens, and glasses.
Blizzard-blowing snowflakes forced horses to hide in a hollow alongside the road.
Sepia-toned monochrome image.
AUTHOR
I am a business traveler and a photographer at heart. I do respect the artistic passion of Winston Churchill, who never quit politics, but created 105 paintings just for his own pleasure.
My favorite tip from Bruno Barbey: "I always discourage people from being full-time photographers if they have other ways of making money. If you really want to do personal work you may be better off doing it as a hobby."
