ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This pair of poppies show both the face and back of the flower. Poppies often droop as the second does here. I loved the white edge to the traditional red poppy and it makes a great subject for a black and white image.

AUTHOR
I photograph flowers I have grown myself in my garden and allotment. Beyond the simple enjoyment of this process it allows me to choose more unusual plants than I can buy at a shop. I particularly love the detail more easily brought out in monochrome pictures.
