ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The Ventura County Fair in Southern California is quite a socially charged affair. It celebrates the harvest period of the year with showing off prized vegetables, arts and crafts and livestock. Next to the livestock hall was an area stacked with hay bales as feed and bedding to the animals. But I noticed that a number of kids were using it as a playground to jump about. I was most amused by the mother who entered the fray with her child on her back. The child was hanging on for dear life by having her mouth on the edge of her mothers cowboy hat.
