ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This photo is part of a project documenting the annual cycle of traditional Chufa (tiger nut) farming in the Spanish town of Alboraya. The seeds of the grass-like plant are harvested after burning down the dried plants. For this to take place farmers must wait for the right meteorological conditions in autumn.

AUTHOR
I am a hobbyist photographer based in Valencia (Spain). I started on a cheap medium format film camera in the 1980s and now combine digital and analog photography in a variety of genres.
