ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The Guardian is watching as the night goes by, keeping shadows at bay and keeping us safe until dawn. In the end, there is always two sides of a story, can we feel safe or do we need to watch out... ? The Guardian will protect us as long as we are on the right side of the story.

This is a composite where reality meets the imagined shrouded in mystery that I try to convey in most of my imagery. The story is owned by the viewer who only sees a snapshot in time. Both what comes before and what comes after is left to imagination.

The photo composite is taken from Paris architecture combined with a visit to the tigers den in a zoo. I always like to combine the manmade with the pure nature of animals and let them co-exist all while leaving the depiction of humans out of the frame, only hinted at, and often let them represent the viewer himself.

AUTHOR
Sara Victoria Sandberg is a photo composite artist based in Stockholm. Sara has always had a great love for the arts and has pursued the medium of watercolors for many years. Sara developed her skills in digital photo artistry through attending various courses and has developed a personal style in her work where she combines photography and digital painting with her artistic vision. She works with light and shadow to mold the scene she visualizes into a finished piece adopting a combination of photo-realism and painterly style.
