ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This was taken down the south coast in February, a couple of weeks before my Pop, Wilfred, (in picture) passed away from stage four stomach cancer. He knew he didn’t have long left and he accepted that. He taught us that in order to live life to the fullest, to live presently, we must first look death in the eyes and accept whatever fate our future will hold, whether it be bad, or good.
I took this picture as he was laughing about some old stories about where we were sitting and having a cuppa, and had caught a glimpse of him tearing up as he reminisced, knowing it be the last time he sat foot there.
