AUTHOR
I have been taking photographs off and on for over 50 years. My primary interest is people and primarily in black and white, but I also have other photographic interests. Up until very recently, when I launched my website, I had not shown any of my photographs to anyone beyond my immediate family.
I count as my photographic heroes Cartier Bresson, Robert Frank and Vivian Maier, to name a few.
My goal is to freeze moments in the lives of the people I have had the good fortune and privilege to meet for usually not more than a few seconds. I like to think that in so doing I have established a lasting relationship with each and everyone of them, though I'm sure most are not aware that any of this has taken place.
I went to UCLA Film School a long long time ago. The extent of my awards is winning the Jim Morrison Award for my first film which was a whopping $250, which I promptly blew on buying film stock and lab fees for my second film.
