ENTRY DESCRIPTION
An Alaskan brown bear sow sat up as a group of us slowly approached her at Lake Clark National Park. The bear had cubs nearby, so she kept a wary eye on our small party while continuing to chew sedge grass. We didn't get close enough to cause her stress and were able to observe her for several minutes before moving on.
