ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The small herd of elephants crested the ridge while marching along the road in the late afternoon on their way to the nearby dam. They kept in close order to project a formidable and united front that showed both their power yet social structure. This elephant road trip resulted in me reversing my vehicle for almost a kilometre while using the opportunity to capture this powerful moment.
The elephants roam in the Pilanesberg National Park, in the North-West province of South Africa along with the other big five animals and many other species. Each visit brings special moments.
