ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This photograph of a Lioness was taken at eye level as she roamed across the plains of Maasai Mara, Kenya. I love the intensity captured within the shot and me how she appears to come out and through the photograph. There is a look in the eyes that is reflective of how these animals live their lives within the plains of the Mara, a look of determination. Lionesses need determination as they do most of the hunting and are faster on their feet than a Lion.
