Age cannot wither nor rain dampen her infinite fortitude (with all due respect to the bard). A lioness decides to brave the rain rather than rush for shelter, in the Masai Mara in Kenya. Photographed back-lit against a dark background, and under-exposed in camera and in post processing to focus on the essential elements that tell this story.

AUTHOR
We are an amateur photographer couple that is truly inspired by the natural world and the amazing creatures that roam wild in it. We also have a strong belief that the best way to get into the souls of these sentient beings and showcase their innate nature is to photograph them in black and white.
