In the sanctuary of the golden eagle, the embodiment of strength and freedom revered on the Mexican flag, I had the extraordinary opportunity to witness these majestic creatures up close. As I delved into the refuge, my camera in hand, I aimed to capture their essence in a series of remarkable black-and-white portraits that reveal their intricate details and the interplay of light and shadow.

In each portrait, the magnificence of the golden eagle unfolds. The piercing gaze of these regal creatures holds a depth of wisdom and a silent power that can be felt through the image. The monochromatic palette accentuates the stark contrast between light and darkness, allowing the viewer to appreciate every feather, every curve, and every crevice that contributes to their awe-inspiring presence.

When I turned 16, I received my first camera, and since then, it has become my constant companion on all my journeys. What fascinates me most is the ability to witness two individuals capturing the same scene, yet producing distinct and unique photographs. Through photography, I not only enjoy capturing moments but also teaching others about this art form. I consider my camera as my third eye, enabling me to see the world from different perspectives. There is no greater art or memory than that captured through the lens, whether it be an event, a landscape, a portrait, or any other subject.
