ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I woke up a little later than normal and noticed the storm clouds gathering overhead. I drove my car to the headland not far from where I normally photograph. I climbed up the hill and saw the sunlight peaking through the clouds. At the same time a boat came into view. I waited for some time for the boat to be placed in the storm sunlight. I knew I had something special.

AUTHOR
My early career was as a Tennis Professional, a role in Product Marketing, an IT Security Consultant, but all throughout an artist.

Forty-five years as a Photographer I'm still inspired by photography.

With numerous photographic exhibitions and awards (Olive Cotton Portrait Award of a Blind Albino Indian girl.)

Polaroid, 35mm, Large Format Film, Wet Plate, Mobile Digital and DSLR formats are all used throughout my photographic art.

More recently (2021- 2024) I have been focused on my Digital Black & White artistic endeavors. These can be seen on my website www.richardofarrell.com.

I'm also a Pastel Drawing artist with a collection of over 3000 drawings, a 'naïve' style but with a strong intention for fun. @richard.ofarrell

I am always working on numerous new projects, stories and new ideas.
