ENTRY DESCRIPTION

This image captured the majesty of Haifoss, taken in Iceland during a memorable journey. Descending to the bottom of the canyon, we witnessed an extraordinary natural spectacle. As we were about to leave, heavy rain caught us off guard, but just before concluding our trek, the rain subsided, unveiling an amazing light in this unique frame. I swiftly took out my equipment to immortalize that magical moment in the photograph. The date of this significant capture is 02/09/2023.

My name is Andres Valle, and I was born and raised in Puebla, Mexico. Although I am a mechatronic engineer by profession, I discovered my passion for landscape and nature photography.

This passion ignited during my travels in 2013, eventually evolving into a career in 2017. I also have a deep enthusiasm for mountains and active volcanoes, which has driven me to undergo physical training to further pursue mountaineering.

As a professional photographer, I've come to understand that photography can be challenging, especially when embarking on this journey and taking on new projects. Learning various techniques and integrating them to create visually impactful pieces is no easy feat, but the experience is incredibly rewarding.

I've had the opportunity to work on a photography project for Huawei, specifically with their P30 Pro cellphone, in Bolivia. I have continued to collaborate with them on new projects.

With countless places to visit, techniques to master, and physical training to undertake—all with the sole purpose of living in 'the moment'—I strive to be ready to capture it all with my camera.
