ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I photographed this giant sequoia in May at the Botanical Garden in Golden Gate Park, San Fracanscio. The sequoia always catches my eye whenever I walk in the botanical garden. And I believe indigenous people described a tree has a soul. Therefore, every time I look at the sequoia, I feel like she is making eye contact with me. I was trapped by this feeling and decided to use 4x5 black and white film to photograph the eye-contact moment.
