ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This photo is a replica of the tintype style made in Photoshop. The inspiration behind this photo is the painting called The Portrait of a Man, created by Jan van Eyck in 1433. I made it similar aspects, but I tried to add a modern twist to it by making the turban a light reflector instead. The meaning behind the photo I was trying to go for was being a serious, hard-working person and having a funny, careless side. I accomplished this by making my model pose in a serious position but to show the silly side, there is a photo reflection on his head.
