A photography student searches for her best angles for an architecture assignment at the Aga Khan museum in Toronto, Canada. The light, shadows, and overall composition of the building looming over her form means that instead, she is part of a different photographer's composition.
AUTHOR
Lucy Barnett is a photographer, writer, and multi-media artist based in Toronto, Canada. Her English Degrees from the university of waterloo (BA, MA) in Rhetoric and Professional Writing and Experimental Digital Media, combined with college diplomas in computer graphics and photography, have been crucial in developing her creative practice. Lucy explores themes such as neuroscience and neurodiversity, otherness, archetypes, object-embodied history, immigration and diaspora, and masking, and loves to document images as well as create them.
