ENTRY DESCRIPTION
As a silent compagnon I observed three grey horses on huge grasland in the summer heat in south of France for three days. I wanted to find iconographic pictures of ranking, behavior and emotional relationship between the three horses no human being is taking care of them. The animal pictures shall be a fable for living together of women and men in human society. I found this phase of intimity of the two while the number one horse was the outsider. Intimity is not a result of hierarchy.

AUTHOR
Born in Germany 1958, professional newspaper editor and self trained photographer, working digital and analoge, black and white films preferred, hybride working: both developing films and pictures in the own darkroom and digitalizing negatives with a high solution film scanner to print the pictures for customers or exhibitions.
