ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Halftail is the dominant male for the Marsh Pride in the Maasai Mara, Kenya. I have spent many hours trying to take a powerful photo of this lion. The Maasai Mara is an incredibly popular place for photographers, most of whole may photograph Halftail. It look me a long time before all the elements aligned. I wanted the Oloololo Escarpment behind, and short grass. After the migration season and the rains had arrived, there was a month period with certain areas of short grass and the perfect backdrop.
