Architecture: 3rd Place Winner 2024 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Located in Liling, Hunan, the "China Ceramic Valley" uses ceramic vessels as architectural shapes and incorporates elements of Chinese Go (Weiqi) such as the board and pieces as architectural decorations. It perfectly integrates "ceramic culture," "environmental protection," and "cultural and artistic facility construction," showcasing a strong sense of Chinese cultural identity while also embodying contemporary and international sensibilities. It is currently the largest artistic architectural complex in China's ceramic industry and serves as a landmark building in the Chinese ceramics sector.
