Architecture: Honorable Mention 2024 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
In one of Le Corbusier's most beautiful works, La Tourette, an atmospherical experience is created by the form, materiality, and porosity of the design. The rawness of the concrete, while not overly brutal and artificial due to the intentive finish, is in contrast with its surrounding nature, allowing for an awareness of the transient nature of earthly things.
