Most of my life, I thought I was immune to suffering. Pain was an unreal part of life for me. I thought that it is impossible to hurt me, that I can handle any load. I couldn't be more wrong. The moment I was defeated came suddenly and unexpectedly. In retrospect, it seems to me that I fell into a sleep for years, a restless sleep filled with painless dreams. I'm slowly starting to wake up and just now I realize how much I did miss...
