Conceptual: Honorable Mention 2024 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
At the late spring of the year, I was much excitedly traveled to Xiapu, China, to take pictures.
However, the weather was extremely unstable, and the photo shoot was not going well, and my mood fluctuated constantly.
Today, we headed to Shawan. But the hazy climate renders the water surface like an ink painting. In particular, with the S-shaped curve, the oyster stands like tree branches are inserted, particularly like a confused jungle that has gone astray. The atmosphere of frustration can't help but come to my heart.
Suddenly, a bamboo raft came from the dark distance to the near light, as if the undeterred fighter of life was abandoning the darkness and turning to the light.
My mood brightened up immediately...

I was born on October 06, 1958 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. I had received Ph.D. degree in the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics at University of Wisconsin-Madison, U.S.A., in 1989, and now work as a distinguished professor in the Institute of Nuclear Engineering and Science as well as the Department of Engineering and System Science at National Tsing Hua University in Hsinchu, Taiwan. My professional expertise is Nuclear Engineering. My personal interests include traveling, literature, painting, calligraphy and photography. My literary hobby is focused on writing prose and poems, and had published two books for them and now is prepared for the third and fourth ones.
