ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Mount Fuji is the most stunning spider chrysanthemum, with its slender long petals. I back lit the flower, photographed in black and white and then inverted the image in photoshop.

With a background in botany and a passion for photography I am a botanical portrait photographer, who is inspired by the flowers I grow in my garden in North Yorkshire. My work focuses on the incomparable beauty, colour, texture, and form of individual flowers, which I find so intriguing yet fleeting.
