ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A reef in the sky
The Latemar massif is a small former atoll reef in the Dolomites. At sunset it dominates the surrounding forests, which are already plunged into darkness. It is only then that the shadows of the jagged edges reveal the countless crevices and trenches that water has carved out of the mountain over millions of years.
