ENTRY DESCRIPTION
In 2019, during my trip to the Valley of the Moon in Bolivia, I had the chance to capture a remarkable moment. The photo, titled "On the Edge of the Unknown," shows a solitary traveler who occasionally filled the air with the sounds of a traditional flute. At one point, he stood on the edge of a rock, looking out into the distant horizon. The combination of the raw, untamed landscape of the Valley and his deep contemplation left a strong impression on me. This majestic scene, full of silence and reflection, inspired me to capture it in a photograph. The monochromatic tones of the image enhance its atmosphere and emotions.
