ENTRY DESCRIPTION
It had been raining all night. I sensed the rain was clearing so I got up very early at first light to my favorite beach. It was freezing. When I arrived, I noticed what I thought was an eagle soaring above the ocean out to sea. The eagle was soaring in large circles. I waited for the bird to circle in just the right spot. It was not until I got home that I realized I had captured a wonderful moment.

My early career was as a Tennis Professional, a role in Product Marketing, an IT Security Consultant, but all throughout an artist.

Forty-five years as a Photographer I'm still inspired by photography.

With numerous photographic exhibitions and awards (Olive Cotton Portrait Award of a Blind Albino Indian girl.)

Polaroid, 35mm, Large Format Film, Wet Plate, Mobile Digital and DSLR formats are all used throughout my photographic art.

More recently (2021- 2024) I have been focused on my Digital Black & White artistic endeavors. These can be seen on my website www.richardofarrell.com.

I'm also a Pastel Drawing artist with a collection of over 3000 drawings, a 'naïve' style but with a strong intention for fun. @richard.ofarrell
