Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2024 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Humanity lives at tremendous speeds. Progress has turned us into a consumer society. We lost ancient knowledge how to communicate with nature, often destroying and exploiting it. Diving into the beauty of the mountains brings us back to ourselves. There is no lie. All masks are shattered by their stern and stony character. Due to the ability to listen and admire nature, a person finds harmony.
The photo was taken in the Yergaki Nature Park, located in the south of the Krasnoyarsk region in the Western Sayan Mountains. Mountains are very harsh, changeable and unpredictable.
