A sunless sunset at high tide near Trinidad California, just after the new year. A long exposure to catch the gentle wave outgoing back into the ocean.
AUTHOR
In my freshman year in high school, our family went to Hawaii for vacation. I used my dad's 35mm camera to take pictures.
Since then, in my travels throughout the world for work and pleasure, I always have had a camera with me, 110mm and 35mm, and later iPhones, starting out with the iPhone 4.
I never thought anything about it, as it was just something I did.
I have had various careers, restaurant and construction, commercial fisherman- (West Coast and Bearing Sea- Alaska and Russia) and commercial helicopter pilot (Grand Canyon, Gulf of Mexico), but nothing I was passionate about.
A couple of years ago, I was able to work with a professional photographer and videographers for a week at a retreat. This, and the support from my entrepreneurial community, is where I rediscovered my forgotten passion with photography.
I am now following that passion.
"Bringing peacefulness and Inspiration into people’s lives through my photographic view of the world".
