ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The Northern Forts, remnants of a bygone era, have been reclaimed by nature, creating a surreal landscape where history and natural beauty intertwine.
With long exposure of 240 seconds, I aimed to give even more surrealism to this special historical place.
Location:
Karosta Beach, Liepaja, Latvija.

AUTHOR
Rolandas Urbonavicius is an independent photographer based in Germany. Using black-and-white photography and long exposures, he captures the changing landscape as a reflection of human emotion. His “slow photography” approach creates a subtle, sometimes surreal atmosphere that invites reflection.
