ENTRY DESCRIPTION
They are many people's favorite plants, perhaps because they are so undemanding or because the owners identify with them.
Cacti are true artists of life and have adapted to the harsh living conditions over the course of evolution.
I found a really beautiful specimen, which inspired me to take this picture. In order to focus solely on the cactus and its spines, I decided to use the low key technique and a monochrome style. This way, the spines of the cactus really come into their own against the black background.
As if the cactus wanted to say, "Be careful, I'll sting you!"
AUTHOR
Nature is my passion and I want to share it with other people through my pictures. Whenever possible, I'm out in nature with my camera.
I worked as a landscape gardener for almost 30 years. This means working creatively with nature and also paying attention to the little things, as these have a disruptive effect on the end result. It's the same in photography.
I have always loved photography and it has become my passion. I'm always trying new things with my camera to see what's possible with it. Photography is art and art knows no borders!
You just have to have the courage to try something new.
