ENTRY DESCRIPTION
- Peacock Anemone (Common Cerianthid) have 2 sets of tentacles, long and short ones, to catch /deliver the prey to its central mouth. During low tide, the tentacles are curled/retracted into its tube, then, as the tide rises they are stretched out again to catch the food brought by the incoming tide.

- taken with Nikon F5, 1.4x teleconverter, Sigma 180mm Macro 1:3.5D, Circular polarizer, f/11, 1/3s, 3D matrix metering, +1.7EV, FujiChrome Velvia 100, film scanned with Nikon Super Coolscan 5000ED,
- completely desaturated to convert to Black and white, minor adjustment on levels and contrast.
