Transported to a place that feels untouched, timeless and humbling, Svalbard is the epitome of raw beauty. Yet it embodies a vulnerability and strength in a landscape that appears vast and unforgiving.

By balancing the frame, with the walrus atop the sea ice in the centre of the tundra, I emphasized the sense of scale, creating depth and a powerful narrative.
