Photojournalism: Honorable Mention 2024 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The yearly rally in May, for which I photograph for the book, took us to Greece and Turkey. We drove 2000 km, mostly on winding and often rough roads—demanding but incredibly exciting. One unfortunate flat tire occurred on a very narrow mountain road along the coast, with no guardrails, making it quite a daring situation. Of course, it was the worst possible spot for such bad luck, causing about 20 cars to be stuck behind the Porsche. Despite the difficulty, it turned into a fun, communal effort as everyone pitched in to help change the tire and put on the spare. After an hour, we successfully resumed our journey.
