Photomanipulation: Honorable Mention 2024 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This piece of artwork is a combination of multiple slow-shutter self-portraits. It all begins with a feeling—the feeling of dysmorphia. The instability of one’s self. A different state of mind, scattered, like pieces of evidence at a crime scene. Connected yet cleaved. Each fragment holds a clue, an insight into the turmoil that rages within. These shards of the mind reflect distorted images of who we are, and who we might become.
