ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Catching a split second photograph of a young child making a wish on a weed is the whimsical and hopeful energy that we need to bring into adulthood. Weeds can be beautiful and the image captures how powerful a child believes that. Children are creative and imaginative and full of wonder at the littlest of things. Watching children in nature is a joy as they experience it through their young mind and imagine what a world it can be.
AUTHOR
I am an amateur photographer from a small town in Idaho. I recently relocated to a new place and try to take as many photos as I can. I do not necessarily have a method to my madness, I simply point and shoot. I take photos of things that interest me and it is a plus when they turn out as expected. I am not traditionally trained, yet, I find photography is a powerful tool to emulate feelings surrounding a subject and specific time. They are history in the making, even if on a minute scale. Each image matters.
