ENTRY DESCRIPTION
ike me, Stefan was a participant in a photography workshop at the weekend in Loft 4 in Offenbach, Germany. But his striking face and his personality were so interesting that I asked him if we wanted to take a few pictures. He agreed and for me it was the personal highlight of the workshop.
AUTHOR
I was interested in photography even as a teenager. My father got me into it and by the time I was 12 we were developing films in the black and white lab and making prints. Then I took photos every now and then for short periods and saw the development of the first digital cameras. Before my current "phase" after my foray into Canon, I hadn't taken photos with cameras for around 15 years. But now I'm taking more photos. Taking photos, especially monochrome, is pure relaxation...
For me, taking monochrome photographs means not serving the viewer everything on a "silver platter" as is often the case, but rather he has to "work out" the image and the message himself.
