ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A photo I took the day we threw my grandfather´s (Abraham Duschatzky) ashes into the Rio de la Plata. There we had arbitrarily chosen to scatter the ashes of my grandmother Basia Czeczyk 7 years before.
There was a slight feeling of skepticsm and still being strong.
On the left is my cousin Joaquin, who I always thought was smiling a little at nerves, a little at absurdity and a bit at seeing me taking the picture. The ones peeking through the railing are my cousins Valentina and Paula, and my aunt Ana Laura, trying to track the fate of the ashes, checking if we had done a good job. On the right, the MDF urn in wich my grandfather´s remains had traveled.
