I have always had a passion for photography. In 2023, I began to consciously and actively pursue this passion. Initially, I dedicated myself to portrait photography. But then, inspired by the work of Henri Cartier-Bresson, I focused on street photography. His concept of the ‘decisive moment’ has defined my photographic work ever since and has become my motto. My current work is primarily concerned with the depiction of geometric and minimalist compositions in urban public spaces and observations of everyday life. Black and white is my preferred means of expression, as it pulls the focus towards the motif and the testimony of the image. Monochrome photos, which also include a few splashes of colour, are also better suited to capture emotions or moods, as well as structures and shapes.
