ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I took this photo in Havana Cuba, while walking on the streets. I am always intrigued by authentic barber shops, and when I saw this guy getting a haircut in a small outfit I wanted to get the shot. To my luck his girlfriend was sitting on the stairs smoking and waiting for him to get done, which added another level to the frame.

AUTHOR
I started photography years ago with a simple camera, but later on this hobby turned into a real passion and profession. I mostly work on black and white street photography, also documentary projects from time to time.
Being born and raised in Istanbul, combined with the vibrant and mixed cultural structure of the city, gave me the opportunity to continue my photography more passionately. Being a frequent traveler gave me an additional chance to photograph different cultures and different people. As Graciela Iturbide once said, “After all, photography is an excuse for me to get to know the world"
