ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Using a high-key approach, I shot this photograph in the hope to create a minimalist, stylistic and monochromatic portrait of a Polar bear in Svalbard. What I loved about this approach with snowy backdrops, was getting a fashion-style portrait, but with wildlife.

Minimalism in wildlife photography allows me to really celebrate the intricacies and details of an animal. Whilst it declutters, it hones in on the power of form, elegance in grace and lets the little quirks of their personality shine.
