Menacing era , threatening vibes, now the paths are so obvious.
To ascend means to allow the inner self to acknowledge the raw self , the spirit and blood.To accept the fall, to grab the cleaver and clear the path.
No steps are made till we learn to live with the knowledge of death.And we have been waiting for long.
We’ve left the darkness to prevail. Now darker , the absence also prevails and dominates only to give , to offer the momentum for this tragic kind to be redeemed.Search, then accept and sacrifice.

Giannis Skarlatos (Γιάννης Σκαρλάτος) was born in Greece and grew up in Sidirokastro, a quaint town in the northern part of the country, where he experienced the boundless freedom of rural Greece in the '90s.

Studied Photography from 2001 to 2003 at Thessaloniki's AAS College of Art,had always an open approach with no clear boundaries or strict concepts to guide the nature of his photography.

After his varied professional activities , living between Thessaloniki -Athens and Crete he now lives in Vienna, Austria and works globaly.

Has devoted himself entirely to photography appropreating his skills and knowledge continuously.He’s not driven by the quest for technical excellence in his work; instead, his emphasis is on the imagery. His aim is to evoke emotions that invite viewers to lose themselves in the power of a captivating picture.To create a discussion mostly with the inner self.
