ENTRY DESCRIPTION
In the past, Thomas Young conducted the double-slit experiment to understand the nature of light. The experiment demonstrated that light possesses both wave and particle properties. What form does the light reaching us from the world around us take? I created an original filter and conducted an experiment to see how 35mm film captures the true nature of light.

AUTHOR
Ryo Takahashi is director, cinematographer, and film photographer. Formerly, he built a long career in the advertising industry as a producer, working on projects that received numerous international awards such as the Cannes Lions and Spikes Asia. Subsequently, he began creating works using video and photographic expressions to produce his own artwork. In recent years, while producing commercial films and music videos, he has also been creating works using film cameras based on themes such as philosophical concepts, physics, quantum mechanics, and the universe. He pursues unique expressions that cannot be achieved through digital technology, using analog methods.
