Nature: Honorable Mention 2024 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This was taken during the hybrid solar eclipse in the year of 2023 in Timor Leste. To witness this cosmic encounter that will only last 1minute and 14 seconds, I embarked on a journey involving four flights across three different countries.
In fact, it wasn't the perfect image of a total solar eclipse I had planned in my mind because of the unexpected clouds suddenly passed by right before the totality starts.
However, when I see that part of the sunlight shines through the heavy clouds, dividing the sunlight into different layers. I realized that sometimes the unexpected moment is what we have appreciated for, either good or bad. The nature always manages to surprise you with its unique charm.
