Nature: Honorable Mention 2024 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Nature is our great mother, she welcomes us at all times, has an ear for us, allows us to calm down and find confidence in difficult times.
Times like these, in which too many people on the planet are once again confronting each other with violence, waging wars, searching for differences instead of common ground.
It helps me to be in nature, among the wise trees on the riverbank, like that cold morning this autumn when the lonely swan swam peacefully past me.
A moment like this is poetry for me, and I want to capture it, hold on to it, so that I can read it over and over again, this visual poem, and so that I can share it with other humans.
I think our world needs a lot of poetry.
