Photomanipulation: 2nd Place Winner 2024 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Human in a complex world...
As a photographer, I am fascinated by metals and their different appearances depending on the perspective and lighting. At some point I started collecting small to tiny metal parts made of stainless steel or aluminium that I found in metal or electronic scrap. I use the collected material to build tiny figures and create miniature worlds. The structure and shapes of the metal parts used and their ability to reflect light are always of crucial importance, as it is precisely this effect that I use as the visual basis for my ideas and images.
