ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This powerful portrait depicts an old Pakistani man, his head turned partially to the right, with a portion of his body behind an iron grate. The traditional hat he wears speaks of his cultural heritage, while his intense gaze pierces through the photograph, telling stories of resilience and wisdom. The iron grate adds a layer of depth, symbolizing both physical and metaphorical barriers that he has faced throughout his life. The interplay of light and shadow enhances the emotional impact, highlighting the dignified strength in his weathered face.

For me photography is a mirror and a relationship. I take photographs to get in touch with my inner dimension. I photograph what I feel is mine, what I have inside. I prefer psychological portraits and photographic projects related to literature.
I look for a combination of reportage, philosophy and social analysis.
